The Lebanese Pound is the currency of Lebanon. Before the First World War the Ottoman lira was used. Then the currency became Egyptian pound. Before the Lebanese Civil War, 1 U.S. dollar was worth 3 pounds. All current notes feature an Arabic side with the value in Arabic script numerals of large size.
