Navigate: Buzzwords... ( )
Paper Millionaire is a very common buzzword in the world of finance. A person becomes a Paper Millionaire when his investments in shares escalate with the rising stock markets and the value of his investments cross a million buck - but only on paper. Unless a Paper Millionaire sells his holdings and converts them into cash, his status of being a millionaire is highly dubious and any crash shall make his paper profit to evaporate and the Paper Millionaire will become a simple person - his million gone with the sliding stock prices. This is a stark reality of life of an investor in the stock and he/ she has to learn When to Sell. Hence the famous stock market maxim (and, also the name of a book): It Is When You Sell That Counts!
